UCHealth Urgent Care - Quincy

I occasionally came here for medical needs that I could not have appointment with primary care doctor; nor serious for E R of hospital. They helped great to my sickness. Front staffs were polite, caring. The medical staffs were professional, caring, servicing. They examined carefully, gave prescriptions, had xray machine etc. to serve basic needs. I have appreciated the urgent care system in general, and the clinic here Quincy-Buckley.

Went in on Sat for rib injury, Dr did not look or examine the area she just ordered an x-ray, told me will give me somthing to help with pain order was never send to pharmacy, I called next day was told someone will call me back no one did, called them again today still was told someone will call me back yet to hear from them! This is not acceptable when someone comes in with excruciating pain and trust you to help them and leaves with this kind of experience! This was my first and last time I visit this urgent care as they don not care about people that comes to them for help!

If you’re going here for UC I would recommend you don’t. The staff was great but you’re just another number to the Doctor’s here. The Doctor I visited wrote unnecessary notes from our visit which feels like an attack on myself when I was just expressing the concerns with the illness I wanted to get help with. If you want to feel challenged and not treated because you’re not feeling well then this is the place for you.

1. Maintain Clean and Accessible Restrooms Clean restroom facilities are essential in any medical environment. Ensuring that toilets are regularly cleaned, sanitized, and stocked with supplies not only supports infection control but also helps patients feel safe and respected during their stay. 2. Avoid Asking Patients to Perform Their Own Medical Swabs Patients should not be responsible for performing their own medical swabs—especially when they are sick, uncomfortable, or unsure of the correct technique. Clinical staff should conduct these procedures to ensure accuracy, reduce contamination risk, and provide patients with proper guidance and support. These improvements would greatly enhance patient comfort, trust, and safety within the hospital.

This urgent care location is excellent! Patients are attended to quickly, and the staff are both friendly and knowledgeable. Special thanks to Shafiq Noorani PA-C, who has seen us twice and provided exceptional care each time. Highly recommend this location for anyone seeking efficient and compassionate medical attention!
