UCHealth Urgent Care - Johnstown

I went in on Saturday after slicing my hand open and was honestly pretty shaken. The staff took incredible care of me and showed so much patience and kindness, especially since I struggle with shots and stitches. They made my situation feel calm and manageable. I’m truly grateful and highly recommend UCHealth in Johnstown. Thank you Kaylea and Deanna

The full staff was so professional and kind, truly attentive to me but also to other patients I noticed while waiting for my appointment. I was seen a bit earlier than my scheduled time, was not rushed during the appointment and felt very listened to. Landon Brooks Rasmussen was a great caregiver. Best medical experience I’ve had in quite awhile.

All of the staff, from check in to discharge were incredibly kind to me. Even the staff behind the desk that didn’t interact with during my visit me wished me well as I left. This small gesture makes more of a difference than you know! Landon was kind and completely thorough with his workup and care for me. I didn’t feel like just another sick patient for the first time ever. As someone who works in the medical field, and has extensive medical care for all of my own health issues, I can say that this was one of the best experiences I have ever had in an urgent care (aside from being sick). Everyone there was so kind and caring. We need more of this!

My 4th visit within 5 days of being extremely ill. I was a faint risk the intake nurse had not strap me into the wheelchair- I started passing out again- she screamed at me saying “you can’t do that in here”!! I’m in a hospital, that’s typical with very ill people coming in!! She grabbed me and told me “we don’t do that in here”! To top it off, I was misdiagnosed, and made to feel like a burden rather than a patient- that will have a hearty bill after all of this as well. Thanks so much UCHealth. Congrats most of your nurses lack a bedside manner and do not belong in the healthcare system

I went in because I had a sharp pain in my right stomach. I assumed it could be something related to appendicitis. Lenette was the care provider assigned to me and she was amaing. Although urgent care do CT scans to check for it, she did the physical check and was able to rule it out that it wasn't appendicitis. In addition, she did urinary testing and X ray to ensure that the diagnosis was what she think it was. It was mainly constipation and gas. The process was very smooth from beginning to end and gave me a lot of relief. The bedside manners of everyone I interacted with are top notch.
