UCHealth Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion - Anschutz Medical Campus

I went here 9 years ago. And Returned, not too long ago. I have noticed a decline in care. I now see it's fellows that graduate and then teach fellows. And has no experience after that. Which isn't helpful for Patients in general. While The basic knowledge is there. There's nothing after that. If coming for something rare don't waste your time or health. Especially if you're sensitive. The cleaning products they use smell awful. The allergist floor, is the same. And not cleaned very well. I had a huge allergy reaction after leaving. This is basically a teaching hospital that just wants to circle you around with your see you in 6 months appointmens. But not really help. I will not be back

The team that did my surgery on my pituitary gland was fantastic!! Dr. Ung is one of the best Dr's that I have met. The ENT was so kind, wish I could remember names. The anaesthesiologist was comforting and full of helpful knowledge. Great nursing staff!! Especially Olivia in the neuroscience department. Such kind and caring people throughout the Endocrinology department. I was referred here by a neurosurgeon office in Fort Collins because that office does not handle pituitary issues. I am so happy they did! My healing process was better than expected and nothing went wrong. I am only a week out from the surgery and I am nearly 100% back to normal. Thanks to the team that worked on me!!! From pre-op to postop excellent care!!

I had an appointment this afternoon but when I got there, I saw people driving in circles for a parking spot. I went to a valet line but I was told that "minorities" had to tip while Caucasian, Black, and Mexicans don't need to tip. They also said they were joking but said it to me with a serious face but they said, "I really mean it! All "minorities" need to tip us good. If you are white, black, and mexican, you are free-of-charge. I do NOT plan to have another appointment at Anschutz Medical Pavilion anymore. I'll look elsewhere!

I had a surgical procedure today at Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion and my experience was amazing. Every staff member there that I encountered was very professional, very helpful, very respectful, and very friendly. They made me feel at ease and very comfortable. In Pre Op I was nervous but that did not last long in no time I was at ease and feeling like I was in good hands. When I went back to the Operating Room I got nervous and even before I got into the OR the nurse could tell I was getting nervous and she spoke very kindly and calmed me down very quickly, She explained that once we got in the OR there was a team of people that would be all over me like a Pit Crew, that team of 4 women and 2 men were absolutely amazing. I had my Father for a very difficult surgery and I commend the Drs and staff. Very helpful and we were there for a week. Now, my brother had a tumor behind his eye near the carotid artery. The surgery was a success and he is doing better by the day. Thank you so much !!
