Incredible. Attentive, kind and caring. Joey our nurse is phenomenal. He genuinely cares and we couldn’t get through these tough times without people like Joey and the rest of the staff here.

This center is amazing. They are easy to find and have valet and reduced rate parking for patients. They have changed the process for labs, now they give you a number and call that rather than your name when its time for your draws, great privacy move. Linda was working at the information desk and I watched her give amazing help to people coming in. There was a little girl who was coughing, and she brought a mask to her mom and made it seem really fun and awesome that she got to wear it. Linda also helped me with directions when I had to find another area of the hospital. The volunteers that bring around warm drinks and candies in the waiting areas are lovely. I have to say I am very disappointed in U of M cancer center. My father was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer 3 weeks ago and they are dragging their feet with treatments. I feel like they are just milking his insurance for all the tests they are doing that aren't even necessary. I'm giving it a 2 because I have to say all the nurses and staff who answer the phones and what not are extremely helpful. Particularly Radiation Oncology are dragging this out the most. Test after test before they can even start radiation, they did radiation to his hip with out all these extra tests, it's just sad. My father is fading away while they are "waiting for test results" They are the ones who said treatment needed to start right away. Very discouraging.

I need to take the medicine infusion from the hospital, and I called them. I want to take the medicine. They say, we don't give it to the sick again. Here, I go to another hospital. Making patients wait 2 hours+ to be seen by a physician is hardly top tier level care. Embarrassing really, never before have I had to wait this long. Guess that is the Michigan Difference.
