True Care Medical Group

You should stay away from this place and seek medical care elsewhere! My mother Joyce Washington has been a patient of Dr.Rahnama for decades. She has referred numerous friends and family, but neither of those things matter to true care medical group. Her insurance stopped paying for a home care monitoring service, and no one from insurance or this doctors office said anything and let the bills rack up. Now she owes thousands of dollars and Dr.Rahnama won't even speak to her about setting up a payment plan. She is disabled and on fixed income. Regardless true care medical group wants $1000 down payment to renew her prescriptions. Miscoded my last appointment, costing me money. It should have been a free annual checkup. Lost a customer of over 25 years because they would/could not correct their mistake. Medstar Health for me. Your reply to my initial review is patently false. My Annual Checkup was NEVER cancelled - it was supposed to occur on my last visit. I verbally explained to the receptionist that I waa there for my Annual checkup prior to my appointment. You just did not listen or care!

Billing/admin department sucks, entered insurance incorrectly, keep sending bills in the mail. Additionally the doctors do not take you serious. The medical assistants are super unprofessional.

Dr. Rahnama always puts you at ease no matter what the problem seems to be! He takes his time when you are in his care and he has lots of experience in his many years as a doctor. His staff equals his care and compassion, and when you have to get in to see him for an emergency they are always happy to help. Our whole family is very happy to have Dr. Rahnama and True Care as our primary care provider!

Dr. Rahmana is caring and takes care of my medical needs. I just don't understand the push to see a Nurse practitioner and the long wait. How do I call in July and I am not able to see him until the end of October? I did not join this group to see anyone but my Doctor. I am very unhappy because this was urgent
