TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital

Had an overall good experience while in hospital other than the approx 18hr (6:30pm to approx 12:30 the next day) wait in the ER before I could be moved to a regular room on 2nd floor. ER needs a remodel to allow more privacy. So much noise with all the different equipment beeping, hearing other patients & all the ER chaos. ER needs more staff / nurses. But the care I received from all the staff in the ER, on the 2nd floor & CCU was excellent. Especially CCU & 2nd floor nurses...Jamie, Olivia, Eric and Kim. The Dr & staff in Cardiac Unit were great. The hospital could use some interior updating of the fixtures in the rooms, including sink, comfortable chairs for family member that may need to stay with patient. The rooms were small but clean. I started out in the ER but ended up in Room 202. The nurse was amazing while I was in her care. One of the 3 guys who took me down the hallway was moving to Louisville to finish his nursing degree. I had the opportunity to pray for him and his wife, who has many friends in Louisville. I believe Haley, RN, was in my room 202. She was amazing as well.

Check-in and pre-appointment went very smoothly and easily. The day of the procedure was an easy process and went smoothly. Everyone was pleasant and accommodating, but I would especially like to mention Mike and Jordan for making it a good experience by keeping the atmosphere relaxed and calm. Brooke (the nurse who discharged me) was thorough with instructions and gave me the best wheelchair ride to the car. Thanks, everyone

Don’t bring your kid here if they’re having chest pains. They will leave them in the lobby with a catheter in their arm for 4+ hours. This place is definitely a joke. I came here because Medical Center tried to take my husband out in the past. But now, I’m feeling like this place has gotten worse than Medical Center. Out of all 30 different people on the staff I’ve seen walk past us, only 2 has moved with a sense of urgency. The rest are walking around laughing and joking around as if people aren’t in here sick. Greenview ER and 98% of their staff are complete jokes. I pray the new generation of nurses and doctors are better than what Bowling Green has. Almost every medical facility I’ve been to has been bogus. We definitely won’t be coming back here.

Best hospital in Kentucky. The entire staff was so nice and helpful. They are prompt when you need them. The hospital food tastes like gourmet food. They changed their food and I love it. My doctor, Dr. Kirk Fee, is the best surgeon. He also has perfect bedside manners. The whole experience was wonderful. My only hospital i will go to.
