Dr. Steve is very caring and my kids respond to him well. My son needed a blood draw once and the nurse was wonderful with him; it could have been stressful but she made it easy. Office staff is great - best I have ever experienced for medical care for my kids. They are reachable by email. They got letters and forms to my child's school quickly when needed. They are also good with self-pay; reasonable price for yearly physicals and the related form that goes to NYC schools. The office staff was helpful and understanding with my concerns about lab costs.

I wouldn't want to give a bad review but the truth is that I had a general check-up and I paid everything, and then I started receiving collection letters from a laboratory, which is the one Dr. Steven works with, the charges came to my house and I took them to the clinic and they never did anything, the receptionist was very friendly by the way, but my problem was never solved, until I gave up and now I have already paid what was owed to the doctor, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Wish I could give negative stars. Dr. Steve Ayanruoh ignored the Pathologist's calls noted on my son's blood work results and put my child's life at risk. Pros: The receptionist and nurse are nice, friendly, and helpful. Gave me print outs of test results when requested. Cons: The office is in a dark basement area. The rooms are small, cluttered, and the whole layout is inefficient and disorganized. The waiting room is also pretty small and can build up quickly. The Dr. is nice but doesn't speak Spanish and his English is spoken with a heavy accent and he is difficult to understand. But the main issue I had, was that my son was SEVERELY sick and the Dr., not only waived off the severity of his CRITICALLY LOW iron levels, but he was dismissive of my concerns and only ran more tests becaus

So unfortunate to read some of this reviews. But personally I believe when there are emergencies we got to take our kiddos to the hospital ER, not to a dr's Office?.. I have never encounter any issues taking my children to to Dr. Steve A. And they have grown up healthy. For those time that might of have been emergencies I drove them to the pediatric ER at the hospital.
