Dr. Weiss is truly exceptional. From the moment you walk in, the office is welcoming, efficient, and professional. Dr. Weiss takes the time to listen carefully, explains everything clearly, and never makes you feel rushed. I recently had a laser treatment with him and felt completely confident throughout the entire process. He thoroughly explained what to expect, answered all my questions, and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. His expertise and attention to detail are evident, and the care felt both thoughtful and personalized. I’m extremely happy with my treatment and wouldn’t trust my skin to anyone else. Had a very pleasant experience here! I was able to schedule online for an appointment the next day to have a large skin tag removed. The receptionist was so kind and helped me get checked in and even helped look up my insurance because I, unknowingly, brought an outdated card. She even printed a copy for me in case I needed it for other doctor appointments which was so thoughtful and very appreciated. My wait in the lobby was very short (<2 minutes) but I thought it was really beautiful and clean. When called back, I was asked about any concerns I had and was actually able to address another dermatological issue I am experiencing which was great. How this place has 5 stars is beyond me. This practice is not responsible and unless you so desperately need a dermatologist I would avoid them. When I had initially visited as a new patient, they were very attentive, responsive, and available. AFTER, they might as well have been closed 24/7. I had multiple issues with them in terms of: communication, insurance submission, and pharmacy submission. I lapsed in my medication for over a month due to a combination of the above negligence. It wasn’t just me either. My pharmacy AND insurance couldn’t get a hold of them on multiple occasions. More recently, I tried to reach out to them to see if I could get another PA for my medication, to which I was told to seek a dermatologist local to me (I had moved to another state shortly after receiving m

I am so glad I found this practice - I was on a 12 month wait for a different dermatology office, called Trilium Clinic, and established care 4 days later. Naomi at the front desk is wonderful and welcoming, the nurses are so kind and caring, and Dr. Weiss’ expertise is unmatched. He is very thorough, easy to talk to, and explains things in a way that is easy to understand. I truly feel heard and taken care of. He has removed several atypical moles for me and the care I receive from the team each time is above and beyond. I recommend Dr. Weiss at Trilium Clinic to anyone who mentions dermatology to me.

I was a patient of Dr. Stephen Weiss in Boca Raton, where he expertly treated various BCCs and an SCC, performed a Mohs surgery with virtually no notice, and handled about a dozen other procedures for damage from years of Florida sun. While I haven’t been to his Chapel Hill practice, I know anyone under his care there will be in excellent hands.
