This Pharmacy is staffed with Personnel who are poorly trained as evidence by their consistent insolence and rudeness. Not even remotely suggesting that pharmacist techs should be gleefuland exuberant but in this pharmacy's case, it's consistently at the opposite end of the spectrum. Do better, Tricare

This review is for the pharmacy. My son has a chronic illness. He sees 7 different doctors and some are in DC - hours away. His medications are constantly changing so I have questions for the pharmacy team often. I have only talked to one pharmacist who was kind in the 3+ years we’ve been here. It is hard enough to have a child with a chronic medical condition, I shouldn’t have to deal with rude pharmacy team members along with it. I’ve been hung up on multiple times along with overall insolent customer service. Why go into pharmacy to help people, if you don’t want to help people? I just want to help my six year old and make sure that I am administering his medications correctly.

Unequivocally, they earned five stars today at the their pharmacy. I forgot to order a refill in time to pickup before travel; my mistake! The pharmacy easily accommodated the urgent need to obtain the refill within two days. They were understanding, gracious, and patient. Thank you!

*****UPDATE***** The pharmacy has improved its processes. I think that the online option to request prescription refills really helped with their speed. I recommend you "Get In Line" to avoid long wait times. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This review is only for the pharmacy. The staff is extremely slow. I chose this pharmacy because I thought it would be faster than the NMCP main pharmacy, but I don't think things there could be any worse. For military, I recommend you show up in uniform if you want to have valuable time saved.

Had an appointment scheduled multiple weeks in advance. Showed up to the appointment and was told I should have received a call yesterday cancelling the appointment - not the doctors fault if she was sick, but the nurse was very rude about stating she called the day prior. No missed call or voicemail received. They rescheduled my sons 2 month checkup and immunizations for the same Sunday. We are now completing the two month checkup and have been told we have to come back for immunizations because no one is here to do them. This clinic is a mess and nurses are rude. Do whatever you can to make appointments elsewhere. It is worth the drive to Portsmouth.
