TPMG Hampton Family Medicine

I was trying to establish care here after my doctor OBGYN, put in a referral saying as they were good. I received this message from them, saying they have received my referral. I called back to schedule an appointment since they confirmed already, and then when a receptionist answered she asked me for my demographic information and then she said there was no referral at all. She then proceeded to say that if I was sure I was calling the right clinic. As you can see in that photo they did receive it. I then said yes ma’am I called the correct number, and so then I called my OBGYN office again and they called for me and told me that they went ahead and sent it over again. My obgyn confirmed they did indeed send over the referral and that is was submitted and completed, but that the reception

Wait time was reasonable. Staff was very attentive. Dr Beasley was very nice. Bedside manner was concerning. She was very thorough in getting to know my medical issues and concerned. Being a senior citizen our expectation for sincere and patient medical care is at the top of our priority. She met my expectation.

I called this office to become a new patient and had to go through a whole screening. I had to see if the doctor felt I was worthy of his care. When they called me back the young lad said that the doctor did not think I was a good fit for him to provide care. What kind of discriminatory mess is that?? I will never use TPMG for anything again.

It was a long wait to get in as a new paitent, but it has been worth the wait. They have a really nice receptionist Team and Dr. Fred Thomas is great. He is very thorough, as a Doctor should be. He also make sure to listen to everything you are saying.

First time seeing Dr. Beazlie-Walker. I know I'm not a doctor so my questions may seem silly to someone who is. She didn't make me feel that way. That really helped to calm the anxiety I have about going to the doctor. I didn't get the old verbal pay on the head and sent away without any answers. She took the time to talk to me and explain things. I'm looking forward to my next visit to see what plan we will come up with for my care.
