I want to share my experience with TPMG Family Practice in Hampton Roads. For over 20 years, I have been a patient of Dr. Dana Bachtell, and one standout aspect of visiting her office is the incredible decorations. Vanessa Boloser, the talented decorator, transforms the waiting area in a way that genuinely uplifts everyone who walks in. Having visited a few other practices, I can confidently say that nothing compares to the warmth Vanessa brings. Each season, from Christmas to Thanksgiving, the Fourth of July to St. Patrick’s Day, her thoughtful decor creates a delightful atmosphere that makes every visit a joyous experience. “The medical care I receive here is very good, and the office is clean and comfortable. However, I’ve had multiple experiences with rudeness from the front desk, both on the phone and at check-in, which makes visits feel unnecessarily stressful. Improving customer service here would greatly enhance an otherwise great practice.

Don't waste your time with this doctor office. Staff is unprofessional and the soonest i was taken to the back was 20 minutes ate my schedule appointment. Once in the back I always waited for no less then 20 minutes before the doctor came to see me. Also, I was 4 minutes late to an appointment and they told me I had to be rescheduled. This place is a joke.

My appointment was @705. The technician was over an hour late getting to the Lab. I was told to wait because there were no appoints spots until after my scheduled doctor appointment. I left to let my doctor office know I needed to get my blood work done. The office was next door to the lab and my doctors office had someone there to draw blood. After all the people waiting and the.person being late. I was not confident with the ability to complete the lab work needed. I want be going back there for blood work anymore.

The office staff is pleasant whenever I visit. So is the lab, the nurse and Dr. The Dr. visit sometimes feels as if on autopilot. Small errors are made in my med notes sometimes, nothing critical but still… so I email for fixes. After a lifetime of military care, required switching to civilian medicine is a real eye opener.
