Total Access Urgent Care - Creve Coeur

I went to be seen for a swollen finger. The practitioner didn’t even touch my finger and the visual examination took 1 minute.There was no X-ray, no up close examination, touching of the finger to see if it was warm, nothing. I had to return for additional treatment a few days later and received care from a wonderfully competent PA named Jen. She ended up having to drain an abscess from my finger that had developed. The first person I saw, an NP, had the bedside manor of a Nerf Ball. Thanks Jen for helping me!!! Jen gets 5 stars.

This facility was very clean and easy to access. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Kat the nurse practitioner was very compassionate and informative. Hopefully, I won’t need it soon, but I will return if another health issue arises.

I’ve had good experiences here in the past, but this last visit was terrible. Some of the staff are very kind, but they are clearly understaffed. I checked in right when they opened and I was only fourth in line, yet I waited like four hours just for someone to check my vitals. The PA came in an hour after that. They weren’t able to place an IV, do a scan, or provide the care I needed. Also, the sanitation at this location leaves a lot to be desired. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. *I went to the Bridgeton location a couple of days later, and my experience there was great.*

Last Saturday we went to the Urgent Care because we were looking for a place with X-rays availability. The staff were prompt in attending to my needs. They listened and took X-rays. The NP explained my diagnosis and prescribed pain killers. After an afternoon nap, I felt almost cured. They have a well organized operation going to take care of the health care needs right in our neighborhood. Wish them well.

I was a walk-in who couldn't make arrangements with my other healthcare option - I am a 100% disabled Veteran. The staff were very kind and efficient. It took no more than 10 minutes from the time the nurse brought me back to an exam room, until there was a resolution of my problem. I had otitis media, infection of the inner ear. All worked out good for me, and I was on my way.
