So first thing I want to say is have gone here for years… last year I went and had the worst experience with a lady always on her phone… the tip thing is very true… however I want to bring up something much worse… last time a few weeks ago I was there it was clear that the room I was in had several water damage to the ceiling and to the carpet and it did not smell good. Then it felt very rushed and was a very unpleasant experience. I didn’t get that great service I was used to. This was me trying one more time after a really bad experience. I would love to know the place got fixed up and that the place was clean again. I used to love this place but the previous manager went back to china. Massage was good except did not massage feet in the full body massage. But when I paid, I gave her a $7 tip. She said only $7 for an hour message? She was mad about my tip. Does the owner not pay them by hour or commission? I saw many reviews like mine. It seems management is placing the financial burden on the customer to make up for low wages, which is unacceptable for a professional service. I noticed that many other reviews mention the exact same issue, indicating this is a systemic problem that the owner needs to address immediately. ​I cannot in good faith recommend this establishment until they fix their compensation model and ensure their staff can accept any tip gracefully without pressuring or intimidating the customer.

My massage therapist did a fantastic job, though they potentially overbooked or two ladies just showed up and lied about having appointments. They asked me to wait and gave me a discount. Since I’m on vacation, I was not on a tight timeframe. I was happy to support a community business and you can too!

Do not waste your time. Went in for a couple’s massage and it was the worst experience. No massage oils we used and it just wasn’t relaxing. Then one of the ladies phone keep ringing which was hooked up to the Bluetooth speaker which keep interrupting the music was playing. No one wants to get massage and you’re answering your personal phone calls and having conversations over them. After she answered the phone for the THIRD time we decided to get up and leave.

My wife and I booked a two hour couples massage. My wife's therapist was Cici, and mine was Coco. We recommend both. Both were excellent, caring for our comfort and pleasure during our session. My wife and I try to visit TJ Massage whenever we are in Cordova, but it's never often enough. Please consider patronizing TJ Massage so they will always be here when we return to the area.
