Timothy P. Daaleman, DO, MPH

Dr. Daaleman was my PCP for years. He seemed reserved but professional. During my last visits, I scheduled and repeatedly reminded UNC Family Medicine‘s staff and him that I came for an annual wellness exam because my insurance does not pay otherwise. However, he coded and billed me for a follow-up visit without rendering the service! When I wanted to talk to him (multiple attempts), he would have his staff answer my calls and messages instead. The Director of Clinical Programs even confirmed that the faulty physician note that led to the coding and billing mistake was addended. Still, my almost $500 bill would not change. Since two days, a debt collector now handles the case. Clearly, Dr. Daaleman was not honest with me when he put the note in nor had he the backbone to talk to me. Th

Dr. Daaleman has been my primary care doctor for 20 years, and he has always been caring, compassionate and thoughtful in helping me through several health challenges. I highly recommend him.

Listens well. Very caring. Great communicator. Has been immensely helpful throughout the various processes & procedures following a major health incident. I lucked out at the time that i chose to be his patient.
