Timothy M. Schoonmaker PAC

A couple of weeks ago, I needed to see my doctor for a medication refill. I was asked if it would be okay to see a different doctor for a faster appointment this time. I said okay. The replacement was Dr. Timothy Shoemaker. At the end of the appointment, I had the courage to ask him if he could be my primary doctor. Why did I ask? I felt completely at ease talking to him. He didn't talk down to me like some doctors do nowadays; instead, he warned me and offered advice in the most acceptable ways. I felt like I was talking to a friend who happened to be a doctor/PAC. I walked out of the appointment motivated to do the right things for myself, not more stressed and feeling scared, which can exacerbate my bad habits instead of fixing them. Tim has been my primary care physician for over 10 years. He is NOT AT ALL as described in some of the prior reviews. Tim spends quality time with me every appointment. Tim never rushes the appointment consistently giving me his 100 percent undivided attention always. I will remain Tim's patient as long as I live in the area without question.

timSchoonmaker has a fantastic bedside manner and is very attentive to all of my needs and he also has a great personality!I can honestly say that I like going to see him. I have never had a physician who was so good I would never have anyone else act as my physician now that I have been a patient of his accept no substitute see him if you have any need of a physician

Couldn't get into my regular doctor as early as I could to see Tim, so went and met with him. Excellent experience. Tim took the time to fully discuss/review my symptoms, and further, took time to discuss a couple of other side issues. I appreciated the way he explained things in a relatable way and that he takes time to listen and makes the effort to be understood. The trust-bond was established instantly. I wouldn't hesitate to see Tim Schoonmaker again or recommend to others.

Dr. Schoonmaker has been my PCP for many years. He is extremely kind, patient and thorough. He always patiently listens to me and understands my questions and concerns. Excellent!
