I have been going to a different orthopedic for a while and haven’t had the best experience. After one called to Tidewater orthopedics, they were able to fit me in on an emergency basis for a quick visit same day. Doctor Vess, was kind, Understanding, and had a lot of knowledge to be able to answer all the questions going on in my head. I have gone three months with no answers in a lot of pain and I feel a lot better and Dr. Vess‘s hands.

Dr Vess was familiar with my medical history; had reviewed previous scans, and took his time reviewing the X-rays with me that his techs had taken. He listened, showed personal concern and offered a range of options. Professional and personable.

Dr. Vess is very concerned about my outcomes. He personally reached out to see how im doing after my epidural. He also let me know to stay in touch and there are other option we can try if my pain level isn’t what it should be. That was reassuring.

Very friendly and comfortable. Very glad I had Dr.Vess as my surgeon. I'm walking and feeling great. I'll recommend him anytime.

My appointment with Dr. Vess was very informative and productive. His demeanor is pleasant and professional. Referred me to another colleague for non surgical ablation evaluation. Highly recommend.
