Thompson Health Urgent Care Newark

My son injured his leg at school, so I took him to urgent care in newark. I was very pleased ! The front desk staff were very friendly and caring, tended to us immediately! The wait to go back to a room was almost non existent. The nurses and providers were also very pleasant and professional. Overall the wait was not long we spent no more than 45 min there! And the staff were all great

I went in with 2 fish hooks buried in my hand and they did a tremendous job, from the receptionist to the tech taking my vitals to the nurse taking my information and the PA who extracted the hooks in less than 30 minutes, thank you. You all did a great job and although I don’t plan on being back, I’m glad I decided to go to the closet urgent care instead of going to where I live in Fairport.👏 Cheers! Bob Martin

Got off of work, rushed there and was 3 minutes down the road and called on the road because I hit a traffic light so I can register and not miss the doctor and they said "sorry, its now exactly 15m before closing now, you missed it, we wont see you even though you called. You would need to be here right now". Just stating my experience. Do with it as you wish.

I went in while in NY with a urine test strip showing purple for infection after telling them that I had one but my antibiotic ran out, but I still felt sick. The young doctor came in and told me she didn't see anything in my urine. (Note: their sign said "lab closed from 12-1") I was there after 12, so I don't think she even checked it. When I got back home to VA, I still felt sick, went to urgent care again and was told that my infection was worse and still there!! This care center did not test my urine properly or they would have found the infection was still there just like I said! I had all the symptoms so she should have properly diagnosed me! Thank you to my urgent care back home!

Normally we have the best Staff and experience here. But last night my 2 year old’s Pediatrician just wanted a quick check over after experiencing some symptoms. She even called and said we were on our way. We walked in at 6:50pm and was told because they close at 8 and someone was ahead of us they didn’t want to stay later so we needed to go to the ER. A 5 hour visit at the ER just to get lungs checked and 2 rapid swabs. Seriously, Newark Urgent Care you couldn’t take 20 minutes to do that?! Shame on you!
