Shannon is extremely rude and unhelpful. She stated because the incorrect insurance was provided at the time of visit they could not refile with the correct insurance, I argued that. She said call the billing department and hung up on me. I called the billing department where a nice lady refiled it with no problem and let me know you have up to a year to refile. I called back to speak with Shannon's boss, which is the doctor. Shannon and the girl who answers the phone both refused to let me speak to the doctor. Shannon is the doctors daughter, who is also ruining his business. People like them should not be working in the health care industry especially with kids because they do not care about people! This place is listed twice in Google , once for the doctors name and once for "Thomaston pediatrics" so I will repeat my review. The wait times are always very long but the real problem was the Dr refused to give our daughter her immunization shots on the grounds that the insurance wouldn't cover it since we had a wellness checkup in the same year already. We were told to go to the health Dept who it turns out doesn't do shots for insured kids in our area, but they told us that it sounded wrong and we should ask the insurance. The insurance told us they didn't know what he was talking about and yes they would cover the visit no issue. My daughter has been taking my grandson since birth. He is now 7 months old. She has been telling the doc that her baby is sick i.e. vomiting; abdominal pain; constipation. The doctor prescribed a medication that was $400. stating he would get it approved through the insurance company. He did not. As a matter of fact he let my grandson go months with no medication. (My daughter never missed an appointment). I decided to go to see for my self what the problem was. When I went he chewed my daughter out for my grandson losing a few ounces (she's a first time mother)when I spoke up he told me to shut my mouth. The staff is always polite and Dr. Delli-Gatti actually takes the time to listen to what we have to say. The wait might be a little long, but the excellent care my child receives is worth the wait.

The receptionst at the front desk " Mary" is very rude. I was in the middle of explaining my situation and she cut me off and put me on hold...then never came back to the phone. I love love the doctor though.
