Customer Reviews
My "appointment" was 15 minutes in a small room with one provider. That's fine, but she's also "treating" about 10 other people at the same time. Then I get the bill and they are trying to bill me/my insurance for $500. Lol. And then high pressure techniques trying to get me to schedule repeated follow up appointments (she recommended DAILY appointments... I had slight discomfort in knee due to recreational running...again lol). No joke they probably had their receptionist call me 10 times over the following week. Just trying to milk "patients" and their insurance for $$$. Sad honestly.
Do NOT use this group of providers. Not only did the office assistants send invoices to an address not even near me, they went and charged a huge amount without authorization, without speaking to me and then when I called copped a huge attitude because THEY messed up. The office manager even admitted on the phone that both invoices were returned to the practice, but did they call or email to get the correct mailing address or find out what the issue is? I do not simply send money without an invoice, especially as I need to verify everything with my insurance company. There are a ton of physical therapy offices in NYC, use any one of those other than this place.
After having broken my arm high up inside my rotator cuff, I was referred to this place by my workers' comp insurance company. My therapist, Susan, is wonderful. She explains things thoroughly and has a great touch -- she even knows her baseball! I enjoy sharing the gym space with others having their sessions, too. Everyone -- from the receptionists to other patients -- has been very nice. I have seen some people complain in their reviews that therapists at this location conduct more than one session at a time, that patients are left to do exercises on their own. Yes, dearie, it's called adulting. You are supposed to take an active part in your recovery, know what you are doing, continue at home with prescribed exercises, etc. If you are an adult, take responsibility for your health, wan
I recently saw Brian Lau, a physical therapist, for an acute lower back injury that was causing me a great deal of pain. Brian is very smart, competent, personable and respectful. His evaluation of my problem was right on the mark, and he did some treatments and showed me some very beneficial exercises for my back. I walked out of that office feeling much, much better than when I came in. The staff was also efficient and friendly. Overall, an excellent experience.
I have been going to physical therapy with Ali at Therapeutic Inspirations for about two years now and it’s changed my life. I feel better and I can move better than ever before. Ali and the rest of the staff are welcoming and knowledgeable and their hours are pretty flexible. I highly recommend this facility to anyone in the midtown East area!
