The Urgency Room

We gave 2 spicey cats in my house. The newer one decided to bite me yesterday. Looks like infection is starting, so I went to Vadnais Heights Urgency Room. Entry is clean, registration and triage nurse welcoming and friendly. As soon as I finished registration paperwork, I was brought to a room. A minute later, RN comes to check vitals and find out my complaint. Within a couple minutes after she left, NP came to check on me. Agreed I needed antibiotics and asked which pharmacy I preferred. She excused herself to submit my prescription to that pharmacy. A couple minutes after that, RN returned w discharge papers. In and out less than 15 minutes! Wonderful experience!

I needed to get some lab work performed and they we're able to get me in same day. For the most part it went fairly well but I did have a small communication problem from the staff. I wasn't told I was waiting for them to get the results back from the lab until I asked what was going on after waiting another half hour. But the staff was friendly. They do send text messages to you as your appointment moves along but on the letting me know that part I didn't hear about in a text. So having to find out by going and asking I had to give only a four 🌟

Waited at the Emergency room for over an hour, just for them to take my name and have me sit there. I came here, filled out my information ( 10mins or so) and was seen immediately. 6 stitches in my leg from an accidental cut from a razor blade ( would add picture of the gash in my leg but it's pretty graphic) amazing people, extremely fast response time! I highly recommend this place! In and out, from time of arrival to time of leaving ( 55mins)

I am leaving this review to share constructive feedback regarding a very poor customer experience related to billing and insurance coordination. Prior to my visit, I confirmed that The Urgency Room was in network with my insurance, both directly through my insurance portal and based on a similar visit approximately six months earlier that was processed and paid as in network. Based on this information, I reasonably expected this visit to be covered the same way. However, the most recent claim was unexpectedly processed as out of network by my insurance, and I subsequently received a bill from The Urgency Room for the full cost of the visit. When I contacted The Urgency Room’s billing department, I was told that it is the patient’s responsibility to ensure a claim is paid as in network, whi

I used to love this place because they usually get you in and out efficiently. I took my mother there tonight for a very severe sinus infection. She is very swollen in her face and they came in speaking fast and didn't check a thing!! She listened to her lungs, pushed on her face and as she did this my mother nearly hit the roof because it's so painful!!!! She then said yep it's a sinus infection, I'll get some prescriptions and they will give u paperwork. The scribe looked shocked too and was trying to run after the provider because she left so quick! My mother was still trying to speak to the Doctor and she just busted out the room and didn't look back.
