Our son has special needs and we are incredibly grateful to have found the wonderful dentists at Smiling Turtle who are equipped to provide dental care using oral sedation for his X-rays, cleaning, and fillings. Our son felt so safe and well cared for and I so appreciate the personal explanations of what was done and how he did throughout the procedure and the follow up messages to ensure he was recovering well at home. My 2-year-old daughter had an excellent experience with Smiling Turtle Pediatric Dentistry. This was only her second dentist visit ever, but I had taken her to a different practice for her first visit and our experience was awful. This was a night-and-day difference. Everyone there was so kind and patient with her (after all, she’s a toddler) and kept realistic expectations. There were fun activities in the waiting room to keep her occupied; she could choose a movie to watch on Disney Plus during her cleaning; and Dr. Romero explained what she was going to do in an age-appropriate manner and modeled her tools before her exam. My daughter has been going here since her second dental appointment. We had a not great experience at a dentist office closer to our house. I asked my prosthodontist for a recommendation, and they told me they take their children here, to Smiling Turtle. My daughter and I are both so happy with this dental practice. The waiting room has fun toys and iPads to play on while you wait. The chairs have screens above them for the kids to watch while they have their teeth worked on. My daughter's favorite thing is the prize vending machine at the end. She LOVES the gold coin she gets and is always so happy with the prize she gets. We’ve had such an amazing experience at Smiling Turtle! Our son has autism, and we were preparing for a difficult experience. But the staff and set up made our son feel so comfortable, he was excited and did not protest to anything. Since big brother was good, so was our three year old daughter. They both received cleanings, and left happy, prize in hand, and eager to come back. Thanks Smiling Turtle for making this such an easy and pleasant experience!!
