The Residence at Glen Hill

My Father has been living here for 3 1/2 years now and we have been very happy with Glen Crest as a residence for him. He dictated a review which follows verbatim: "The Score is excellent for almost every aspect. Excellence starts at the top & nothing is more deserving for that level of approval than Lois M. She is enthusiastic, positive, hardworking almost to a fault and has a wonderful attitude of positivity. These values & level of activity are also reflected in the staff. They're always interested in the residents interests and needs and in turn, their willingness to do good things for them. The atmosphere here is very warm & friendly. Most of the residents seem to be very happy. Glen Crest stands well above the average institution for independent senior living."--Howard R.

My mother lived so happy at Glen Crest for 7yrs before she passed. She loved her apartment, especially the balcony that allowed her to sit outside in the nice weather. She considered the staff and residents like family from Ken and Bob in the kitchen, Jay who patiently fixed her TV remote many times, Bonnie who cleaned her apartment and chatted about their favorite soap opera, her table mates she ate with every day and Lois who in her caring way makes sure Glen Crest continues to be a great place to live. Thank you to all the caring staff at Glen Crest.

I was thrilled to get my Mom into Glen Crest four years ago. It is a wonderful place for independent senior living with a true community spirit. Everyone there is like family, caring and looking out for one another. Lois, the Director, is outstanding; warm, caring and super accommodating. It's the best kept secret in Danbury.

Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a caring community for their loved one. Lois (Administrator) and Bob (cook) come to mind first, my father was here for the his couple of years, and they were always there for him in a caring and compassionate manner. Glen Crest is a wonderful place for independent elderly people. It encourages gatherings and events for the residents to gather. The administrator is exceptionally helpful and cares about all the residents. The rest of the staff are also very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this place to all.
