After reading all the reviews about Dr. Sanderson one thing is for certain Dr. Sanderson is undoubtedly the best neurosurgeon in the tri-state area. I am 57 with a serious mid thoracic back issue for some time that was progressively getting worse. In August 2025 I had an MRI done on my back. I met with an orthopedic surgeon on August 18th at 8:00 a m. to review the MRI. During the review the orthopedic surgeon said to me "I can't do this surgery you need a neurosurgeon". The orthopedic surgeon snapped a picture on his cell phone and sent the picture to Dr. Sanderson explaining to him the issues. Dr. Sanderson was reassuring through my process of coming to terms with having surgery. I am 5 weeks post-op ( Right L5 and S1 Laminectomy and L4L5S1 Spinal Fusion) and feeling grateful for my recovery while being mindful of my BLT limitations.
