Hello, I would like to say that I had at least a three month stay at the new Jewish Home and Dr. Otkur and Bridget Tracy were incredible as were my speech therapists; Stephanie and Alana, my physical therapist Dickson my occupational therapist Anafey as well as most of the staff, they are the best. My stay was long and hard work. I can only say that Miss Edwards who was the nurse aid on the floor I was located on was the best. She is very encouraging and treats you like a human being. The food was OK as well as with any facility as I understand it you have good nursing aids not so great nurse aids, but that’s how it goes. I would recommend the Jewish Home Thank you.

Great attentive care. The physical and occupational therapists were outstanding in their encouragement, the necessary daily exercises they helped me with, and teaching me what I needed to know and do, that enabled me to return to independent living after suffering from an accident. I will always be grateful for the help and sincere concern I received during the 3 months I was at the New Jewish Home.

The one thing that I can see from the experience of my friends being at the home was a positive one of the ladies in the daytime back-and-forth with keeping her clean, comfortable Food changing of linen they were very professional. I appreciate it and was really felt comfortable if I didn’t get to make it there on time for her to get fed the therapy staff the swallow staff. Everyone was very sweet to her. I think them tons of times if I could, unfortunately she has passed on, but her experience at the home was pleasant one.

My mother had three falls in this nursing home. We felt that the rooms were not always kept in great condition. You go into the room it smells like urine you go into the bathroom, it smells like urine, I’d have to call housekeeping in order to tell them to come in and clean under the bed because there would be food and stains on the floor. And I didn’t understand about the clothing. They just gave my mother a bunch of other people’s clothing and the clothing that we had purchased for her would just disappear. I never saw any kind of activities going on when they were sitting in the large room. People will be sitting in wheelchairs and some would have their heads down. I didn’t see any of the aids really helping or engaging the patient in any kind of meaningful activities. They were just li

My partner has advanced Parkinson's and was in need of intensive phyical and occupational therapy after a 10 day inpatient tsay at a local hospital. My expectations were exceeded. Unlike other facilities I looked at, the New Jewish Home provides therapy 6 days/week with outstanding staff. The nursing and medical staff couldn't have been more attentive. So, despite the age of the facility, this is a sub-acute rehab facility that I have had no problem recommending to friends and acquaintences!
