My outcome was horrible. It was a result of a variety of issues. I began my treatment and then Covid hit so things got complicated as procedures changed. During that same time, the doctor had to take a leave of absence due to a medical emergency. I was left with the dental monitoring app and a dental assistant who couldn’t seem to understand my complaints about the aligners not seating properly. There was a problem with the fit. I was told to keep using my chewies…which I did at 45 minutes at a time. The chewies did not improve the fit. I believe there was something wrong with the way the batch was cut but no one seemed to hear me out. After two years, I finished my treatment. My bite was still horrible. At the age of 38, making the decision to get braces is something that I’ve decided to do for myself. Choosing an orthodontist was the next step and with having such high expectations was a very important part of the process for me. Ultimately, deciding on TMO and Dr. Gretchen Schnepper was the best decision I could’ve made. Dr. Schnepper and her whole team were very attentive. They listened with genuine enthusiasm and care when I voiced any concerns I had and were always transparent with me during my treatment process. That’s something I very much appreciated and I couldn’t be happier with my results. I drive over an hour from The Gorge to receive treatment at the Modern Orthodontist. After consulting with and being treated by numerous Orthodontist offices, I am so thankful to have the remainder of our family’s orthodontic care completed here. Dr. Hill and Dr Schnepper are honest, trustworthy and highly knowledgeable. All the office staff are friendly and highly skilled. They’ve treated my daughter’s complicated orthodontic care and my adult orthodontic treatment with careful consideration and expertise. Orthodontic care can be confusing and is an expensive investment. It is so nice to be able to relax know we are being well taken care of. I am so thankful to be with this practice and this office. Dr. Schnepper is such a wonderful person and orthodontist. She was always considerate, kind and thoughtful. Not just about my orthodontic work, but about me as a person. She always checked on me and would ask about my comfort. It was almost a two year process and I always appreciated her the entire time. My smile looks wonderful and I am so happy with the service she provided. And thank you to one of the assistants, I forget her name, but I just saw her today for my follow up. I always appreciated her being so kind and gentle while working on my braces. The team at the front was always wonderful too! Thank you again for everything!

The Modern Orthodontist took the best care of both of my kids. Beautiful smiles - worth every penny! The team is always kind, knowledgeable and flexible. Dr. Schnepper is an artist and a perfectionist in the best way. She truly cares about helping her patients achieve the smiles they want and deserve! Highly recommended!
