The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy

I did an on line order with a designated pick up time. I was disappointed that my order was not ready as designated ... It was supposed to be ready at 5:30 pm and it was handed to me at 5:45 pm... And Nobody offered an apology for the delay. In addition, the pizza toppings seemed to be skimpy... Maybe it's because of thier BOGO promotion, but in my opinion that shouldn't make a difference. This Papa Murphy's location has some issues that need to be addressed... I hope they can learn from this review and correct their mistakes...

UPDATE I'm taking away my second star. I feel like I have gotten the absolute run around as far as my birth control goes. And I am terrified. I will end up getting pregnant this month because of their runaround. Essentially, if you don't have insurance, they're not filling your prescription "depending on what it is" I called in again 2 days after my previous, to learn that they still hadn't filled my prescription because they assumed without insurance I wasn't going to want to pay $150+ and there's a good chance I will get knockedup due to the runaround on birth control. I find it really uncanny that they are willing to slap coupons on to any other prescription but birth control let alone recommend where I can pick it up and have a coupon applied. Not accepting new patients. Would not fill my husband’s prescription, stated we already have too many chronic patients and to try another pharmacy. Stars for answering the phone promptly and calling back to let us know they could not help.

The staff is nice enough but I feel like there's always some kind of confusion whenever I need to refill my prescriptions. My insurance denied one of them because of the way it was billed, they'd often bill the wrong insurance, just all kinds of simple avoidable issues if they weren't so clueless. It's sad, it appears they have a bunch of inexperienced teens working there. Since when has anyone been able to just walk into a pharmacy and get a job there? Hopefully as they gain experience this will change.

My family transferred over to the Medicine Shoppe in Deer Park after Bi-Mart shut their pharmacy. They have been fantastic so far. The people are friendly and helpful - some seem to be always smiling and happy even when it is busy. And the automatic refills are a gift. I'm glad we switched.
