The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy

This WAS a good pharmacy and I was a loyal customer for a years. Things started going downhill recently. First they wanted diagnosis codes on the scripts (no other pharmacy requires that and frankly it's HIPPA info they don't need to fill a script. Then my scripts wouldn't be filled when due until I physically showed up and waited. Then I was told they were losing money on filling my prescriptions due to insurance, and they told me they could no longer fill my medications. In my lifetime I've never heard of such a thing. Also note I paid cash for one script and the other insurance paid the same amount for over 2 years. When I questioned this, the story then changed. I've been on these medications for over 15 years and never had these issues. Also when I tried to change ALL of my BP

Just got my second dose of the Pfizer vaccine at the Boyertown high school. They did an amazing job!! So organized, so friendly! It was am amazing experience seeing thousands of people getting vaccinated so quickly and efficiently. I wish every thing in life would be this easy!!

Great hometown pharmacy. Certainly takes care of the locals. They have pride in their service, you can tell by their customers satisfaction. My go to for a special compound medication

Amazing store and pharmacy. With a special need daughter in wheel chair, the pharmacist came out for "curbside" vaccines every time for her, knowing the difficulty in transporting AND with the associated anxiety with vaccines. Also, expert advice on daughter's other med needs over the phone...what to do, what not to do. After being with the disasters in CVS audubon, rite aid, and multiple stores, this is the old-time, hands-on, small-town pharmacist who probably remembers every customer and what's going on. After all, it is B town and Gville area. ***NOTE: Only negative and THIS IS NOT THE PHARMACY, a business manager, vendor, corporate person maybe, a Woman I had heard openly expressing personal views on topics inappropriately, inappropriate language. I recently had a requirement for the rt-PCR Covid test and chose The Medicine Shoppe in Boyertown . I will say unequivocally that although the Covid test is not physically enjoyable, the staff at Medicine Shoppe goes to great lengths to make it as stress free, informative and easy as it possibly can be. Especially to the healthcare professional (I am sorry, I did not get your name) who administered the test Monday morning, 11/22, you are a credit to your profession and to the community. In these times of increasing apathy and decline of customer satisfaction, it is truly a blessing to have a business of this caliber in the community and I offer my sincere Thank You for it!
