My mom moved into The Inn a year ago. She is so happy with her new home! Everyone, residents and staff, are so welcoming and the food is wonderful. There are so many activities, from weekly classes in literature, meditation, exercise, and music to bus trips in and around the New Canaan area. All these are organized by Barbara. Barbara knows each resident on a personal level and makes sure they are included in every activity they choose to participate in. She truly is a great asset to The Inn!

We are so happy with the Inn! My parents moved in 2+ years ago and have made a fabulous group of friends. There are wonderful activities including a weekly reading club, various musical and artistic performances, games and outings to interesting community locations and events. All of these are organized by the fabulous Barbara, who along with the rest of the amazing staff, creates a vibrant, active community for the residents. Highly recommend!!

My mom has lived at the Inn now for many years. At first she was reluctant to make a move to a independent living community but on one visit, we met a resident who shared her experience with us. We were sold and mom decided to move in! With the help of the amazing staff and kind residents, she was welcomed immediately. The location is fantastic and close to the center of charming New Canaan, near a church, walking trails and beautifully manicured grounds. The food is delicious and dinning room elegantly appointed. Moms room is charming and cozy and she feels safe and secure. Best of all is the staff - each and everyone who works there takes pride in their work and builds out a community of love and respect. Glad we took the visit and glad mom is living at the Inn!

The Inn at New Canaan became "home" to Mom three years ago. Since that time everyone at The Inn has been so good and kind to Elizabeth (Lil). Mom receives the best care from the professional and friendly support staff at Waveny. Located near the center of town and next to St. Mark's Church, the scenic grounds are within walking distance to the village. The surrounding beauty and tranquility of The Inn provides for a good walk. The genuine and heartfelt love and personal service given Mom by the staff and people at The Inn is extraordinary. Lil is very happy in her new apartment and we visit her and her new friends regularly.
