The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Rome

My grandmother was a resident at this building for 4 months for rehab and she loved her stay here. I myself visited daily and the staff are very attentive and helpful with anything my grandmother needed. Since being here she had 3 care plan meetings with the staff and each department was helpful in planning her discharge and made sure she had everything she needed before going home. My grandmother did enjoy the food and always got something else if the meal was something she did not like. Overall she enjoyed her time here. She was at other facilities in the past and by far this was the best place for her to get better.

This long-term care facility offers a caring and welcoming environment for residents. The staff are compassionate, respectful, and attentive, creating a sense of comfort throughout the building. The facility is clean and well organized, and there is a calm, positive atmosphere. Residents appear well cared for and treated with dignity, and it’s clear that their safety and well-being are taken seriously. Overall, this is a place where residents can feel supported and valued!

My family member came to The Grand several years ago on a short term rehabilitation stay where he received excellent care from the nursing, wound care and therapy teams! Unfortunately, it was determined that he was unable to return home and required long term care. With that being said, the entire team from Social Services, Nursing and Administrative Services were there to offer support, guidance and care, not only to my family member but to myself every step of the way! He has been under their care for several years and has thrived, not only from a medical perspective but from a social aspect as well! My dad was a resident for a number of years before his passing. The employees were all wonderful. The housekeepers would check in to see if we needed anything, dietary staff were accommodating to all of his requests, the nursing department was informative and compassionate, and the social workers were wonderful advocates and supportive during his stay.

My mother has been to the grand rehab twice now and both times we have had Sarah (nurse) that has helped us. She is very kind to my mother and has helped a lot. All of the day shift crew is amazing with her. I appreciate them all
