I wish I had read Ileana Hernandez's comment below before wasting my time and money here. I had a similar experience as her, where I spent over $5,000, and my condition only got worse. The only thing I've found to limit the pain is Botox shots in the masseter muscle and temple. If anyone knows of a better practice, please let me know!

If you’re reading this, it’s likely that TMJ-related symptoms are interfering with your life and you are desperately looking for relief. That was my case, and poor decisions are often made in a state of despair. I went to Del Rio feeling jaw pain, neck and shoulder pain, and the rare ocular migraine. I received an appliance that was not custom-made for my mouth or situation; I was told once the pain was eliminated, I would move on to phase 2 (Invisalign). I had read some of the TMJD literature before my initial consultations and had various questions (e.g., will the appliance be so bulky that it will cause mouth breathing? Interfere with my sleep?). Excellent one to one attention. Dc Del Rio and staff take time to lisen to their patients, they take time to give you treatment and see how you are reponding to it. I highly recommend Dc Del Rio and his staff.
