My 89-year old mother just completed a 7-week rehab stay at The Boulevard after hip surgery, and my brother and I were very happy with her care and experience there overall. Armstrong is the best, with a bright smile and warm disposition, and he waved his magic wand to get her a shower and shampoo upon request and always has a kind word for everyone. Some people just seem to fit their job perfectly and he's one of them. My mom enjoyed her window view and appreciated Sally's compassionate care. And I have to say the food was really excellent! I would recommend The Boulevard to others looking for a positive rehab experience. I do wish the PT was more frequent, but it was effective and the therapists were encouraging. Thanks to the Boulevard staff for helping my mom get home again!

My mom has been at The Willow at The Boulevard Post Acute for almost two months following hip surgery. I was extremely anxious about placing her in a rehabilitation facility, especially because she has dementia and does not handle change well. From the very beginning, this facility has gone above and beyond my expectations. Aaron Rebuck was incredibly welcoming and kind when helping get my mom settled into her room. His calm demeanor immediately put me at ease during our first meeting. Our initial interactions with the nursing staff, Thea and Rose, were equally reassuring—they were compassionate, patient, and so gentle with my mom. At that moment, I knew she was going to be in good hands. The dining staff has been wonderful, ensuring my mom receives a well-balanced and nutritious menu. S

I ended up at The Boulevard due to an infection in a surgical site requiring IV antibiotics and wound care. Most of the nurses were excellent including Sharmila (the wound nurse). She cared for the three wound sites on my leg by regularly changing the bandages and would weekly change the dressing for the PICC line. She is outstanding at what she does and is an asset to the facility. Even my doctors were impressed with her work!

“To Millie- nurse of Dogwood Rehab- On June 2nd, 2025 I came here after an accident which resulted in a broken femur. I was in INOVA Fairfax Hospital for 1 week, and I was very frightened as I had surgery even though I was 94- from the beginning of entering Dogwood Rehab I was treated very well which made me happy especially to see the many birds. Millie maintained a quiet and well run Rehab which gives one a peaceful feeling day and night. The nurses and staff are great.
