Went here for a second opinion for my works insurance company. The dr. Was clearly working for the insurance company. My exam was not thorough by any means. Dr. Tried to tell me that my torn meniscus has been there for a long time and was just aggravated by work.He never looked at my MRI. Was paid by the insurance company to say that it was not caused by work. I've never had a knee injury in my lifetime. I get in and out of a large truck on uneven ground. Have stumbled and hyper extended my knee several times at this job. I have to bend over and sqaut 500-600 times a day with 900 stops a day. And yet it took 3 months to "aggravate" an injury that was supposedly already there. Since my injury occurred 6 months ago I have had alot of pain and cannot compleatly bend my knee. Never had this

I have been dealing with Chronic pains that have limited my abilities. This doctor (Jeffery Kauffman) at the alpine clinic dismissed my pain, undermining it to mental pains. As if telling a person who is paralyzed that it is all in their head. As if to say someone chooses to use a wheelchair and they can walk if they sort out their mental framework. He would not listen to my concerns and was focused on his predudice opinion before hearing me out. When I tried to speak he left the room.

I went here for a second opinion about an ankle injury that hadn't been healing. Turns out it was broken. Had I not gone here, I would not have gotten better. They have their own xray machine. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and inviting. The doctors and support staff are knowledgeable and kind. I would recommend this clinic to anyone of any age.

If you want your life back quickly, this isnt the place to go. If you want a hands off approach, more of a "let's see what happens in 4 months" deal, this is your place. I dont ever need health care. Or, I hadn't until this past summer. 7 months later, my bones are still broken. Nothing is really being done. Its certainly caused more damage...I haven't been able to work, so...yeah. wrong approach for me.
