Tennessee Valley Pain Management

I have been to see Dr Steven Driscoll on two different occasions. Both times he loves to tell people he doesn't give pain pills. Never asked for them. So I let him talk me into a procedure. I had to lay in bed for two days after because my back hurts so bad. I get a call from him on Tuesday telling me he can't help me. Tell me your a quack without saying it. I did record him both times and I am going to send it to my insurance company. He's already been in trouble before for doing this. Not a good doctor.

I have been going to Chattanooga, Tennessee Valley Pain Management for over five years. Doctors were not helpful when I required pain medicine when it was most needed . Doctors would only prescribe 14 pills at a time and would require me to come in for a reevaluation and another $75 fee at the counter I have had three back surgeries, arm, pain, leg pain, carpal tunnel, pain since 2015 I have also tried two surgeries with this establishment with no success, and a third surgery was scheduled and was canceled on the day of the surgery for no reason.When I showed up for my surgery at scheduled time,, the staff lied-to me and said the doctor left early., So when I went outside to gather myself from tears, I had seen the doctor sneaking out the back door. Had my first visit today at the Hixson office, and I am genuinely flabbergasted looking at some of these negative reviews. Dr. Dreskin has to be one of the nicest, and seemingly most genuine, doctors I've seen so far in my autoimmune struggle. Straightforward, non-judgemental, and reassuring. I'm beyond excited to start my journey with this office!

BAD EXPERIENCE. Im in 10/10 pain from 5 slipped discs. I go visit Dr Dreskil (sp?). He begins to tell me that he doesnt do opioids over and over from the beginning like im a drug addict. I tell him over and over thats not why im here. I in pain just fix it. Dont care what I take at this point. He gives me a nerve pill prescription on friday and tells me to call him monday if its not doing the job and we can adjust. COOL. After suffering all weekend, I call Monday morning at 8am and get pushed to his voicemail. I call back Tuesday at 9am and again at 3pm leaving a message both times. Dr. Dreskin is a dismissive and judgmental man. I was referred to Tennessee Valley pain management by my PCP. There is nothing more I hate than telling a doctor that I'm in pain. I have a complicated past. The cause of my pain is due to repeated physical trauma to my body for decades and injuring myself several times while working. Not only has that left my body traumatized but my mental health as well. In 2023 I had A trimalleolar fracture which is a break in three parts of the ankle joint: the lateral malleolus, the medial malleolus, and the posterior malleolus. It's the least common type of ankle fracture. The surgery was terrible. My foot was put back on my leg internally by plates and many screws and pins. I was on pain medication for 5 months.
