My favorite pharmacy experience ever. Kind and efficient locally owned small business with attention to detail where you can trouble shoot with the pharmacist if needed, fill medications for you and your dog, and get your vaccine boosters and sunscreen.

My first time here - what a pleasant experience! After getting sick of the aggravation at CVS and Walgreens, I decided to try this small, independent pharmacy. I called ahead before picking up my prescriptions and the pharmacist actually answered the phone immediately (no automatic system, long time waiting to speak to an actual person). When I arrived at the store, there was no line, my prescriptions were ready, my insurance info had already been looked up (with good pricing), and the pharmacist was friendly and knowledgeable. Yes, the hours are much more limited than big-box pharmacies, but I will definitely be coming back here for the overall positive experience.

Best experience at the Tarheel Pharmacy. Wanted to get my covid booster before travel cross country but no availability at all the bigger drugstores in town. I called here and they said they would be happy to give me the vaccine and to come in anytime while they were open. The paperwork was easy and quick, the people who work there were all friendly and efficient, and the pharmacist gave me my immunization within a few minutes of my arrival. So pleased and being able to support a local business made me feel even better!

Super helpful, kind, and friendly! They really go above and beyond with their service. I came in asking if they did blood pressure checks and although they didn’t offer that as a service until then, they opened up a blood pressure machine just for me and did a free check! Always appreciative of their warmth and helpfulness.

Amazing service! Malli is smart and progressive. He is working closely with my Dr. to provide high quality supplements that I can’t find anywhere else. I am so grateful Tarheel Town Pharmacy has come to Carrboro! I can not recommend them enough!!! They even called to wish me a Happy Birthday.
