Emerge Pediatric Therapy

My son was referred to physical therapy at about 13 months old, and when we spoke with facilities like UNC and Duke, it was going to be months before we could get him in. Emerge was able to get him in much more quickly. We weren't sure how it was even possible to do physical therapy with a young toddler, but Anne Wolf was great at coming up with age-appropriate activities that held our son's interest and enticed him to practice the skills he needed to work on. She was also great at helping us communicate with our pediatrician and other providers; at multiple points, she wrote detailed notes to them to make sure they understood what she was seeing in his physical therapy sessions. I would highly recommend Emerge to anyone looking for great pediatric physical therapy.

We had a great experience with infant physical therapy with Anne Wolfe at the Emerge Carrboro location. My daughter was referred at about 7 months when she couldn't sit independently, and Anne worked with her weekly (and then every other week once she was walking) until about 18 months, at which point she was back on track with her gross motor milestones. Anne was consistently clear and reassuring, and made the sessions fun and engaging for my daughter. She was also able to do early morning sessions which was very helpful for the work/daycare schedule. We'd strongly recommend her + Emerge to anyone needing similar services!

My son receives OT with Tessa at the Carrboro location. She is such a wonderful therapist and is easily able to mix strategies to support his sensory system while adding in interventions to target other goals. She meets him where ever he is when he walks in the door and adjusts her plan based on what he needs in the moment. She provides excellent parent education including ways to carry over activities at home.

Dr. Anne has been the BEST!!! My son has been going for about 6 months, and because of her he’s learning how to crawl! She’s super patient with him and you can tell she loves her job. I definitely recommend her to anyone whose littles need PT.

We love Emerge Pediatric Therapy and would recommend it everyone! Logan has been working with my daughter since December and has been so patient and kind with her. They truly care about each child and do their best to meet their individual needs. We 10/10 would recommend!
