Virginia primarily uses accupressure-based techniques which are highly effective for relaxation and gentle correction of painful areas. Her work is serene and systematic, ensuring thorough coverage of back and shoulder regions. Long holds with barely-there hand contact (energy work) are hypnotizing and regenerative. She also performed some gluteal/hip releases that were very helpful.

She always tries to accommodate my same day appointment requests, and gives a wonderful relaxing massage. Totally recommend!

My massage was nothing short of fantastic; I was genuinely shocked at the effect she was able to achieve with a slow and soft touch, rather than a heavy "kneading" massage like I've had from other practitioners in the past. I have an extremely tense neck/shoulder area, and so I normally tend to believe that I NEED the heavy style of massage, but Virginia has proven me wrong in that regard. I came in with a terrible tension headache and pain up and down the right side of my neck, and I left feeling light and relaxed, a feeling which has continued into the next day. I'll definitely be returning!

Virginia gives a great massage. She gives massages that have good affect without pain. I usually get a massage with Virginia after long runs, and I always come out feeling relaxed and not sore. If you're looking for a deep tissue massage, Virginia might not be the right fit. If you're looking for a very relaxing experience for your mind and body, she is probably a great fit.

Virginia gave me one of the best massages of my life. I never leave reviews but felt compelled to leave one this time. Virginia's style and touch is unusually soft considering how profound the affect she has on your muscles. I'm used to deep tissue massages which can often simulate a kind of "no pain, no gain" type mentality. Virginia's approach is very different. It's all about listening to the body, moving slowly but methodically and releasing tension on pressure points through acupressure. To say I am impressed is an understemant. I've been to numerous massage therapists before who haven't achieved nearly the same results during an intensive session. I genuinely can't recommend Virginia enough. My only regret was that I didn't tip enough.
