Tandem Health Pediatrics

Just wanted to share the great experience we had with Tandem Health pediatrics- We were recently in town visiting family when my 5 year old became sick. I was unsure who would be able to see him on short notice since our usual pediatrician was hours away. Tandem was able to see us even though we aren’t established patients. The entire staff was attentive, efficient and reassuring. We were given the best care and my son made a huge turn around and was able to enjoy the rest of our time with family. Shout out to Jasmine who was amazing with my son, as well as Dr. Acaylar, who explained everything to us and made me feel so at ease. Thank you Tandem!

Please dont be fooled by the fake reviews! Dr Efua Wilmot is the most shameful doctor you can ever get for your child! Saw her some time back and have now lost my child due to her incompetence and advice. She suffered chronic health issues following her advice over time and am too weak to do anything! Please be careful with this one is all i can say for now.

I love my son's Doctor. He calls back promptly. I never have to wait long at appointments. I have had no issues making same-day sick appointments.

Communication= nonexistent Staff is rude and can't be bothered to stop smacking gum long enough to speak to patients and if you have perfume sensitivitydont go here they bathe themselves in it and you will not be able to breathe, if you get a doctor that is willing to spend more than a few seconds in a room with your child don't expect them to be willing to educate themselves on any medical disorders that thier patient has so they can treat them correctly (proven genetic disorders), thier idea of a solution when called out on anything is to get mean and try to shame the parent or threaten to dismiss you from care (they are like the horrible narcissistic boyfriend). Unorganized, rude and unwilling to be bothered with more than vaccines and very simple diagnoses.

Dr. Wilmont was nice. We really liked her. But we we wanted to change doctors to somewhere closer to home since this is a 45 minute drive for us. Well we started the process of changing doctors and asked for my one month old babies records to be released to the new doctor office and they cancelled our appointment that we had the next day. It takes time to get a appointment with a new doctor. We wanted to keep the appointment we had we had with tandem but they told us they couldn’t see him anymore because his records were transferred. You can make copies and send them over and still see us. It felt to me like they weee holding a grudge for us changing providers. A 1 month old child. And you all cancelled his appointment. That’s terrible and unprofessional.
