Front desk reception can be improved by recognizing patients when they approach the front desk. If they are busy they should tell the customer that they will be right with them versus ignoring them while they continue their work. I had to wait probably 2-3 minutes before being recognized or my presence acknowledged. Otherwise a good overall experience.

Greg Byrd was awesome however the only problem I had was the very first person whom came and got me she seem like she was just over it she wasn't very welcoming at all. It seem as if her job is just routine to her verify check your weight and bp no type of professionalism about her interaction with patients other than that it was great and I forgot the male nurse name he was awesome he educated me about the procedure and we had a great conversation he answer my concerns, we need more like him in health care profession. GREAT JOB

Not sure if they understand how to use a phone, manners, or a computer. This is the 3rd “technical” issue I’ve experienced with them and all I got was a half apology. I guess I’ll drive to Columbia next time

My visit was super great, Dr. Byrd informed me of everything that would be happening your nursing staff is kind considerate and informative. Circumstances changed and I had to reschedule. When I called s lady on the other end of my phone was so understanding n helped reschedule and found a very close date to my original date. Everyone at Sumter Gastronomic was very good n took the time to really help me understand my procedure. Thank you all for your kindness n thoughtfulness. My God bless all richly. Dr. Scott McDuffie is THE best! Perfect bedside manner and goes out of his way to make sure everything is exactly right! Everyone in the office is always so pleasant and it’s a pleasure to go there.
