Symmetry Physical Therapy

I’ve been treated at Symmetry by Tess for two different conditions. I first came with chronic bilateral rotator cuff tears. I was unable to work out, and sleep was difficult. Over several weeks and a combination of manual work by Tess and exercises, I am almost-always. pain free, have gone back to working out and feel great. While I was being treated, I was in a car accident and had a concussion with severe headache and balance issues as a result of the concussion. My doctor prescribed Vestibular Retraining and again I worked with Tess. Honestly I was skeptical going in, but over several weeks I have had a huge improvement in my symptoms, and continue to improve. Staff is great! Easy to get an appointment and they get you in quickly. I saw Jose Palomo for ear crystal/vestibular issues and he is outstanding and very knowledgable. He was thorough in testing and he quickly diagnosed the problem. He is also very nice and compassionate and explained everything along the way. I went in pretty debilitated from the vertigo and left feeling great after two sessions. He was a lifesaver, and I cannot recommend him and Symmetry enough!

I chose Symmetry Physical Therapy initially because it was in close proximity to my job. I was hoping that it was at least descent. I had rotator cuff surgery 6 weeks prior and needed to follow up with PT. I met Dr. Tessa who was turned out to be just who I needed. Dr. Tessa is kind, extremely knowledgeable, and has a great bedside manner. During my sessions, I felt supported, cared for, and heard. I progressed under her care. Also, she has a wonderful personality. It sounds cliche, but she's definitely "a ray of sunshine." She'll makes you feel like family and not just a patient. She's awesome! In the end, Symmetry Physical Therapy was a perfect choice, because Dr. Tessa sees...you.

My one wish would be to take a Tessa with me wherever I go. Overall the whole team at Symmetry is great. Friendly and kind. To find a PT that has the skill set of Tessa is very hard. Her knowledge and expertise has helped me feel confident enough with my back to manage most of it on my own, with an opportunity to visit her for some upkeep. You won’t find another Tessa in Miami. Or at minimum you will struggle.

Jose at Symmetry PT is the real deal. Knowledgeable, attentive, and actually listens. Every session feels purposeful, and not just going through the motions. I've seen real progress since starting with him. Highly recommend.
