I had an appointment I had to cancel after getting to the office because even though they “take” my insurance, I still have to pay on top of my copay to get an updated prescription, even for regular glasses. This bothered me, but the only reason I’m leaving this review is because the provider was so condescending. When I was talking about how they should tell patients about potential charges before they come to the office, where at least half their patients are primarily there to check if there has been any change in their prescription, and how I’ve never had to pay for the glasses examination (not contacts, I know contact fitting is a separate charge), the doctor responded with “Well, your doctor might not have charged you, but they probably should have”.
