I have severe dental anxiety. I went to see Dr. Forwood for sensitivity. They got me in within a week. They were so nice with my anxiety, talking me through everything, and reassuring me throughout. He found a very tiny cavity that he thinks was the culprit of the sensitivity. They got me in the next day for the filling and were even able to move my cleaning appointment up by a couple of months to be done right after my filling. Again, they talked me through everything happening, from the topical numbing, to the Novocain, to all the drilling, and putting the filling in. I cannot recommend Dr. Forwood or his office enough. They are amazing!!

I am new to this practice and I am so impressed with “everyone” at this office. Dr Forwood is very kind and explained everything he was doing to put me at ease. His assistant Jean walked me through everything they were going to do and made me feel so relaxed and informed of my treatment plan. She really helped me with a little anxiety I was having. The ladies at the front desk are very pleasant and also helpful in scheduling and insurance. I am so thankful that my husband and I have found a practice that we are comfortable with.

Had a filling here and the experience was nice and trouble free. The staff were very helpful and kind and explaining everything to me. And their office was clean and calming . Dr forwood was great would recommend!!

Appt on 4/1 /25Excellent service. My cleaning was efficient and did not take long ( but my teeth are in excellent shape, and I floss daily). The higentist was knowledgeable and answered my questions honestly, and did not attempt to push products that i did'nt need even though I inquired about if I should acquire them. Office staff is kind and friendly and Dr Forwood is kind and he and his staff answerd all my questions. There was no wait time, as I was seen immediately; I never sat down in the waiting room. Appt on 4/8/25..this was to fix my teeth in my teeth in the front ( see second photo). Dr Forwood did an excellent job. You can see the difference. If you have concerns or wonder about if something can be addressed just ask. Dr Forwood is very open and honest about what he can do and

Dr. Forwood at Swarthmore Smiles is an excellent dentist along with his assistants. His appointments are always on time and the office uses the latest up to date equipment. I highly recommend this office.
