Swarthmore Pediatrics

Swarthmore Pediatrics is amazing. Love the staff that are there. They just don’t take my daughter’s new insurance and that is the only reason why we are having to switch. I will say the only thing that has been like a disagreement has been certain shots we have wanted to wait & the doctor just seemed a little push. She understood and backed off a little bit. 100% recorded them. They have taken very good care of my daughter when seeing her. Just sad to say goodbye.

Let's talk about this place !!!!!!! My son has been coming here since he was born he is now 4 years old !!!!! He has been sick i called not once or twice but 4 voicemails now !!! Got a text message the other day which i have screen shot of saying it's just virtual and pretty much not important enough to bring him in !! Then i called again because now it's getting worse and his ears hurt and still no apt . I want to stitch his dr office and need his records still no call back for that. Now i pressed to do the nurse hotline the dr gets on the phone i tell her my concerns and that i will also be switching drs and she hangs up on me !!!! Her exact words on a recorded line are go ahead take him somewhere else and hung up!!!! I will be contacting a lawyer asap!!! Do not take ur kids here

When my daughter was born, we started taking her here, everything was fine, we enjoyed the staff, everyone was friendly, but unfortunately it seems the office decided that they will no longer take direct calls anymore. So if you have a question, you need to call the office and hope they call you back. As a parent, I would not recommend this office anymore. When you have a concern it should be addressed promptly, not at the convenience of the Doctor. Very sad, it once was a good office.

Apparently this Pediatrician cares more about office policies than children's health. I never write negative reviews or slander anyone but this has me disgusted. A few months ago I was given primary custody and responsibility of my 3 year old daughter, as a single full time working father, because her mother is not well. I had her files transferred over to the pediatricians that her mother and I used to go to because it is closer to me. Upon attempting to make an appointment, I find out that we are not allowed to go to the other pediatricians... This office is a small town pediatrics office. The doctors office hours may be tight and they are closed for holidays etc, but the care is #1. They are fairly strict about policies regarding showing up for appointments and making sure you follow up on your child’s care but that is your job as a parent to make sure you are compliant. The staff there is always kind and understands that children’s lives are extremely delicate. The doctor and nurse practitioner are both extremely knowledgeable and if you’re an adult who needs basic healthcare needs, very good choice for regular well visits and the occasional infection, UTI. They really do care about patients. Also since they are crozer affiliated but not in a hospital setting, it is less scary for kids to be in the office; very child friendly.
