We have been consistently attending therapy at Sutton Place for over 12 months now. It is a wonderful place filled with Wonderful people. They are all caring and attentive to specific needs. Our daughter comes here twice a week. Once for land therapy and once for aqua therapy with a physvial therapist. Thanks to sutton place and the hospitable staff, She is progressing in movement and coordination.
When I needed to strengthen my knee through PT I chose Sutton Place Physical Therapy near my apt. My doctor advised that I go once or twice a week for six weeks. I have done exactly that and yesterday I got a great report from my doctor. Today was my last session for now. I can’t thank the team here enough. Kyla my PT specialist was both an effective coach and a patient one and she made every session enjoyable and productive. The front desk team are friendly and efficient. It’s been a really easy and effective experience. I’m kinda sad to have to go. Lol
I came into Sutton Place PT 6 months ago with multiple issues stemming from spinal stenosis. I started off in the pool which kicked off my recovery. After three months I began land PT with Jolie Widawsky. After three months, I am nearly symptom free. She is young, but wise, and miraculously has resolved my issues. I haven't felt this good in years! Highly recommend.
The physical therapist instructed me to do an exercise to stretch my calf muscles while she attended to another patient and completed her paper work on her computer. While doing the exercise unobserved (so perhaps incorrectly) I ruptured my achilles tendon. The pain was intense and I asked the PT to take look at my ankle and tell me what to do(I didn't know until I saw the foot doctor that I had broken the tendon). Her response surprise me. . She said that she could not attend to my ankle because I had a prescription from the doctor for her to do PT for my hip, not my ankle. I made an appointment with a foot doctor at Lenox Hill and had three operations for the repair of the achilles tendon and complications that followed from the injury. My recommendation for prospective patients is
I came here for pelvic rehab and this facility was wonderful. Very clean, calm and Profesional on a quiet block. My Therapist. Maya was excellent and patient and helped me make a full recovery. Highly recommend this location and much preferred over a hospital affiliated facility where they tend to be frantic and busy.
