Sunbury Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

Sunbury Skilled Nursing Center is one of the best Nursing Homes I have ever visited. The Staff are excellent and helpful above par. They not only provide exceptional care to Residents but they also CARE about the Residents in so many ways. They provide activities that are interesting and fun that The Residents can join in if they desire to. They have nutritional meals for Residents to enjoy each day. Staff make Residents feel comfortable and welcome always. Sometimes in Nursing Homes they might be short staffed but the quality of care is always there for the Residents to feel comfortable and safe in their Home away from Home. Thank you everyone who works at Sunbury Skilled Nursing Center! You provide an amazing Home environment for your Residents!

Our experience with Sunbury Skilled Nursing and Rehab was excellent! My husband was in a nearly fatal motorcycle accident and needed short term rehab at this facility. He is different from the usual population since he's only 30 years old.. His first day there was also their Fall Festival, and all he wanted was to go outside. The rehab department got him up in a wheelchair and outside for the first time in a month! It brought tears to our eyes, truly a memorable moment! All of the staff is wonderful and takes great care of the patients. My husband was cared for with compassion and respect and I am very thankful for this facility for providing such excellent treatment! Thank you to all the staff for caring for my husband!

The staff is very nice, professional and helpful. The people and the place are all clean. As far as a nursing home goes they are doing a wonderful job. I have to say it does take time to transition a loved one. It takes time for them and for you. So take a deep breath and remember that these people are doing what we can not . My father has been in several rehabilitation facilities over the past few years, and his stay at Sunbury Rehab has been the best by far. From our initial conversation with Lori, the Admissions Director, to our final conversation with Jamie, the Social Worker, our family felt informed, involved, and supported throughout my dad’s plan of care. During our visits, the entire staff was polite, courteous, and even shared a little humor, which made a difficult time much more pleasant. I highly recommend Sunbury Rehab for anyone in need of short-term rehabilitation for themselves or a loved one.

I've been a resident here since January 2024 after a surgery. The nursing staff and CNAs are absolutely amazing. Administration is always available to help with questions and/or concerns especially Lori in admissions. Dietary, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Activities, and Therapy are always available and do an incredible job!! I feel since my injury is keeping me from home right now the staff here make everyone feel as at home as possible. I truly 💕 the staff and residents. Thank you all for everything you all do. You are appreciated!!!
