I had my first visit with Dr. Sumner, and I am beyond happy with the experience! My original dentist recommended replacing my three-year-old crown, but I was referred to Dr. Sumner, and I’m so glad I was. She was able to save my existing crown, which is now good for possibly many more years, saving me time and money. Everyone at the office, from the front desk to the staff, was incredibly welcoming and professional. Andrea took the time to thoroughly explain my insurance benefits and everyone made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. The visit was surprisingly painless, and I genuinely appreciated the care and attention I received. I’m excited to continue working with Dr. Sumner and her team for my dental care. Highly recommend!

My orthodontist referred me to Sumner Family Dentistry after hearing about my poor experience at a different practice. I’m so glad I chose Sumner! The staff are happy and welcoming as soon as I step inside the door. The office is warm and welcoming, which creates a calm environment. I shared my past anxieties and traumas with my hygienist, and she took the time to explain everything she was doing, why she was doing it, and how long it would take. She was very gentle and calming the entire appointment. Dr. Lydia is also a fantastic dentist! She’s always explained everything very clearly to me and lets me have a say in my own dental care. Absolutely love everyone here! I went to a different dentist in the area for about 2 years, they were fine (not super friendly, often running behind, but the big thing was the dentist told me I would need veneers for a small chip on my bottom tooth- I wanted a 2nd opinion). I’m so glad I trusted my gut and tried a new dentist and I’m so glad it was Sumner! The front staff is lovely and very helpful, hygienists are great and the dentist is incredible. If you’re looking for a new dentist or need another opinion- go here!

You won’t find a more caring and less pushy dentist out there. I’ve been going for years at this point and even moved 40 minutes away but don’t mind making the trip to the office twice a year. They don’t want you to pay for expensive procedures and are never pushing anything on you that you don’t need. Judgement? Not here. I had been without insurance before I came here and was worried I’d get a lecture on teeth health but they were the most caring and kind people and that’s why I’ve been going ever since. The front desk ladies are hilarious and Heather is so thorough in her cleanings and feedback. 10/10 best dental experience!
