The entire practice is amazing, particularly Bailey, Ella, Erin, Ashton, and all the other vet techs who are nothing but warm, patient, and attentive to my dogs. I feel as if I am the only patient at Summit, with the level of care and follow up that is provided to me and my dogs. Dr. Nelson is the most exceptional vet I have had the pleasure of seeing across multiple states. Her breadth of knowledge is vast, and she always provides me additional reading information on the diagnosis. She never pushes unnecessary tests or medications. Additionally, she has worked me into her busy schedule, come in on a day off, or stayed late when an emergency has popped up with both of my dogs on multiple occasions. Dr Richards and Dr Nelson are two angels on earth. I have ten animals who are mainly seniors and a couple are fairly medically complex. We receive the most compassionate care and the staff treats my animals like their own. Dr Nelson has been our vet for over 6 years and I like to adopt the more challenging animals. She always tackles them full on and challenges herself to learn more and grow in her profession. She and Dr Richards complement each other well, and they make an excellent team! This past week we planned to say goodbye to one of our senior girls on Thursday, but she took a turn and began to decline Monday evening. I am a vet tech who worked with Dr.Nelson for many years, I personally recommend her to every one I know who has a pet. Dr. Nelson is an amazing veterinarian, she is the definition of generous and compassionate to both her patients and their people. When my personal dog suddenly became very sick and my family and I were faced with the reality that it was time to let him go, Dr. Nelson comforted my whole family and assured us that we were good pet parents and did everything we could for him. My family and I followed Dr.Nelson to Summit from her previous clinic because I know she will take the best care of our pets!!! Summit in addition to having excellent veterinarians (I know Dr.Richards is amazing as well), they also have an amazing facility that was very clean and comfortable!

These people are truly so caring and kind. I take my dog Cowboy here while he’s here with me at college, our Vet at home is so special to us, so I knew it would be hard to find a vet here that matches our standards. Luckily, we found it here at Summit Vet. The staff is always so kind, and my dog is never scared or uncomfortable at appointments. I can tell they take good care of him and are always so polite, respectful, and not to mention super affordable.

This is hands down the best vet hospital I’ve ever been to. Dr. Nelson was incredibly kind, helpful, and honest. She helped my dog Tux with a clip stuck in his paw and made sure it was handled safely without overcharging. You can tell they truly care about animals and their owners. I can’t recommend them enough!
