Went in as first time patient 12/17/2025 for orthotics (my current ones had worn out). Dr. said they'd submit for insurance approval and have me come back for a scan afterwards. I explained that even if my insurance pays nothing, I'll pay cash. She promptly had an assistant perform the scan and told me that because we were close to the holidays, the insurance may not get back to them until after Christmas but it generally only takes a few days for an answer. 2 weeks later I called in to check the status and was told that the request was sent to my insurance and I'd be called as soon as they do. 1 week later my wife went into their office to be told that their own billing staff were back-logged and were still working on mid-December's approvals. She added that I needed to be scheduled

Today was the first time I had ever visited any podiatrist, so of course I was nervous. The young lady at the reception desk was amazing as well as the nurse that put me in the room. The Dr. comes in, a lady with dark brown hair; who spoke very quickly and seemed to have no patience. I informed her of my pincer toenail and she went to get nippers. I told her she was going to cut my skin and she said “no it’s fine”. What happened??? She cut my skin. I feel I left in worse shape than I was when I arrived. My toe is now bruised, cut, and extremely sore. She said keep coming in to get it cut or remove it completely. I am still left with so many questions. I will NEVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE. I feel I wasted my money and my time.

In April, I was treated for an ingrown toenail at this clinic. After the doctor removed part of the nail, a chemical was applied to destroy the nail root in that specific area to prevent future issues. However, a critical piece of information was omitted: that there was a risk—however small—that I could lose the entire nail due to trauma. Had I been properly informed of this possibility, I would have explored alternative treatments. Now, I no longer have a toenail, and after my second follow-up, the doctor informed me that it may take up to six months to even know whether a new nail will grow back. I am left wondering whether this was simply trauma or if the chemical caused more serious damage—something I was never warned about. This has been, and continues to be, a terrible experience.

I took my insoles there because the Wilmington summit podiatry said I could do so. When I gave them to the clerk she did not tell me that I would have to see a podiatrist to get them back. After waiting 4 weeks to hear from them I stopped by. They refused to give me my insoles unless I saw a podiatrist. All the podiatrist did was take the insoles from the counter hand them to me and then she walked out. I paid for these insoles so for them to keep them hostage until I saw a podiatrist was absolutely a money-making scheme which I did not appreciate.

Incredible experience. I have had to have a toenail removed twice before, at another facility. The last time was so painful that I was ready to try dangerous home remedies. I decided to try one last time and saw Dr. Susie San t'Anna. I was holding my breath and ready to leave because of anxiety when she walked in. "I"m so sorry you had a bad experience last time... This won't be like that..." She was right. Quick, almost painless. Less pain than a bee sting for the anesthetic, and I didn't feel any of the rest of the procedure. Incredible fact... my toe hurts LESS for the couple days after this procedure than it did with the other procedures. The other negative reviews seem to focus on scheduling... I had not problem with that at all. Even if I did have a problem with scheduling
