Thank you for reaching out. I did not come to the ER casually. I only came because I did not feel well, had a headache, and my blood pressure at home was repeatedly around 150/100. Based on the guidance I had previously received, I understood that readings around 140/110, especially with symptoms, were a reason to seek medical evaluation. During the visit, I was told that 135/90 and even 140/110 is not serious and not a reason to come, and that only extremely high numbers such as 190/140 would be dangerous. While I understand there are emergency thresholds, this explanation did not feel consistent with the guidance that led me to seek care and did not leave me reassured. The excellent care that I received from Dr. Gunning is something that everyone should receive. He took the time to explain my condition, talk me through what he was doing and even securing me a referral to general surgery for my condition as I do not have the funds for an emergency room. He is truly what all doctors should strive to be. I am thankful I chose this urgent care and would recommend to anyone that needs assistance!

I recently visited seeking urgent medical attention for a severe injury. Despite being in considerable pain and following all their protocols, including paying the copay upfront, I was subjected to an unacceptable and frustrating experience. After waiting for over 45 minutes, I was informed that they did not have X-ray services available until later in the day. This is completely unacceptable for an urgent care facility that is supposed to be equipped to handle emergencies efficiently. The nurse practitioner could only offer an apology, which did nothing to address my immediate medical needs or the waste of my time and money. Went three times. Was barely, and once not even, examined. Protocol was inconsistent. The third visit was extremely uncomfortable, and my issue was never resolved. I will never return.
