Stewart Optical

My experience today with them was amazing. I walked in off the street having lost a nose pad on my glasses that I got in Chicago. They were very helpful and fixed me up right away. And to top it off they refused any payment! I would certainly use them for my next pair of glasses if I lived in Wausau. Service like that is very rare these days.

Your facility has provided me with the absolute best service today! The people that helped me were phenomenal! I've never had an experience where I was able to find frames so quickly in that the frames felt comfortable putting them on the first time. I'm thankful my insurance carrier sent me your way!

Eye exam went up $50 in one year and I didn’t even see a doctor!! They waited to tell me half way through the exam that there was no on site doctor. No trial contacts included in the $150 exam either. Reception was rude. Seemed she had better things to do. Never going back!

I had been going to Stewart Optical for years. Staff and physicians were always kind, helpful, and accommodating. They had excellent customer service. Regardless of the circumstance, they always ensured that I had contacts to wear. That has all changed. A new optometrist and new staff do not accommodate and put patients' needs first. Not only that, but the staff member that I spoke to was downright rude! I will be transferring me prescription elsewhere.

Based off my first two encounters I rated Stewart optical a 0, but now they have definitely earned 5 stars. The owner went out of her way to correct the issues I had. While I was there (reluctantly at first, I admit) to have my issues corrected, I noticed that the person working the front knew almost everyone by name and greeted them as so, she was also extremely busy, but she found a style of glasses that my 5 year old liked!!! The doctor is very polite, my kids felt comfortable with her, which freed up my time! I was happy with my previous eye clinic, but the prices are much better here, the time for the exams took much less time (the second the optician was done with her part, the optometrist was ready). Another plus, they have kid glasses that are completely flexible and reasonable!!
