Steuben Center

I went to this facility to get signatures from a resident there. I was let in and looked for the sign in sheet which is no longer there. Now it is a very intrusive machine that takes your picture and asks you name and phone number I’m er and then a battery of questions. I answered too quick on one of the questions and it buzzed me out and I was told that I had to start over. I let them know that I was not going to. So, I ended up waiting in the foyer for the resident to come down. I stood there about 12 minutes and I asked if they were bringing her down. They said they were trying to contact someone. I ran into a friend who is a nurse there. She asked what I was doing and I told her that I was annoyed by there machine because first of all I don’t like my picture taken. And second I don’t k

The staff was plesant, the residents appeared well taken care of and content. And with the new security system we can feel confident our loved ones will be safe and well supervised. The atmosphere at Steuben Center, was quiet and peaceful at the time of our visit.

This place only cares about the money. After being repeatedly asked to talk to myself or my brother before they spoke to my mom, they signed discharge paperwork with her. After my 91 year old mother has used a walker for 3 years, (and had 2 falls with the walker requiring hospitalization)the PT department wanted to send her home (where she lives by herself)using a cane!

Meeting today for Louise ... talked about her progress, activities, PT and her medicine.....meeting was very informational. Very pleasant and caring staff ..❤️

What a lovely home for the elderly. Lots of room for visitors and the residents. It was clean and the staff was so good with the people. Very nice!
